Today's homework is an extra copy of a previously done page due to the fact that most students struggled with R-controlled vowels on the previous two tests.  Have a great weekend.  Dear Parents, Due to time constraints regarding the 921 Earthquake drill, there was no levelled readers class today. Therefore, there is no extra homework tonight. Due to the fact that we are spending 3 weeks on the story Hottest, Coldest, Highest, Deepest, I am moving the unit test from Friday to Monday, 9/26. Regards, Teacher Ari

 Dear Parents, Today in class we did the following: 1. Quiz Corrections, Vocabulary words 1 - 5 2. Vocabulary words 6 – 10, Hottest, Coldest, Highest, Deepest, RWN page 261 3. Homework: Write vocabulary words 1 – 10 and the definitions one time. Please note that the only quiz corrections done in class was the phonics part as that was the most difficult part for students.  We did not finish RWN page 261 today due to time constraints. Dear Parents, Today in class we learned irregular plural nouns and started RWN page 252. We also learned vocabulary words 1 - 6 and read The Man Who Invented Basketball.  Homework tonight is to write vocabulary words 1 - 6 three times and the definitions once as well as RWN page 256. Students who didn't complete RWN page 252 in class should complete it as extra homework.  I will be back at school on Wednesday, September 7.  Dear Parents,  Today in class we learned about biographies and autobiographies, learned vocabulary words 11 - 15, and read The Man Who Invented Basketball.  Students also started RWN pages 248 and 250 RWN Page 248 is for biographies and autobiographies. RWN page 250 is for The Man Who Invented Basketball.  Due to technical issues, we did not get to finish those RWN pages.
