Week 11 Definitions

normal: usual or ordinary: not strange
collect: to get things and bring them together
butterfly: kind of insect with a thin body and brightly colored wings
collection: a group of things brought together
foil: a very thin and light sheet of metal
feather: one of the light growths that cover a bird’s body
interesting: attracting your attention: not boring or dull
napkin: a small piece of cloth or paper used during a meal to clean your lips and fingers and to protect your clothes
keep (kept): to continue having or holding something
stuff (stuffed): to fill something so there is no room for anything else
unnatural: different from how things usually are in the real world
shoelace: long, thin string used to fasten shoes
fabric: woven or knitted material
scrap: a little, piece of something; often waste
fancy: special; not plain or ordinary
china: hard white material used to make cups, plates, bowls, etc
tuft: small bunch of feathers, hair, grass that grow close together
distraction: something that makes it hard to think or pay attention
tidy: neat; in good order; not messy
clutter: a large amount of things in a place that looks messy
unpleasant: not nice; horrible
mow: to use a machine to cut grass
lawn: a piece of grass often outside a house
baffle: confuse or confound
