Today's class went as follows:

1) Words 16 - 20

2) Vocabulary review.

3) Homework: Read A Froggy Fable pages 30 - 41, study test vocabulary words and -le sound.

Tomorrow, there is a unit test on A Froggy Fable.

Test sections include spelling, matching words to definitions, fill-in-the-blanks, -le words, and multiple choice comprehension questions.

The following document consists of the test vocabulary and -le sound words to study.

1)     Flap: To move up and down.

2)     Danger: Not safe.

3)     Hollow: Empty inside.

4)     Flock: A large group of birds.

5)     Creep: To move quickly and quietly.

6)     Unfamiliar: Not known to you.

7)     Needless: Not needed.

8)     Infer: Make a conclusion based on facts and evidence.

9)     Jar: A glass container used to store things.

10)                     Hatch: To come out of an egg.

11)                     Shelter: A place of safety.

12)                     Unexpected: A total surprise.

13)                     Splash: To move water in a messy way.

14)                     Whisk: To take away quickly.

 Dear Parents, Please see the attached vocabulary list for the coming story. 1) Write new vocabulary words 1 - 18 three times each, write the definitions one time.
