Today's lesson went as follows:

Please see the attached unit test vocabulary list for tomorrow's test.

Creep (v): to move quietly and slowly

Support (v): to hold something up

Beetle (n):  an insect with a mouth that bites and hard front wings

Underneath (prep): below or underneath

Spray (v):  push out in a way that it covers a large area

Vine (n): plant with long stems that grows along ground or up something

Root (n): the part of the plant that grows underground; it gets water for the plant

Harvest (n): gathering fruits and vegetables

Support (v): to hold something up

Rot (v):  break down after dying

Festival (n):  like a holiday, but it can be many days

Celebrate (v):  have a party because something good happened

Roast (v):  cook slowly, especially in an oven

Insecticide (n):  something made specifically to kill insects

Net (n):  a loose weave of ropes used to cover something or catch something

Cucumber (n): a long, green vegetable often used in salads

Tangle (v): To become twisted together.

Bumpy (adj): having or covered in bumps

Rub (v): to move something (like your hand) back and forth along the surface of something

Soil (n): top layer of earth where crops/plants grow
